Hi, is there a manual or setup guide? I can't get the site to work on IIS7... keep getting "500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."

Thank you.

I tried the web install and I got the following error message and the file MasterPage.master is in the directory. What should I do:

---

You need to add the file "MasterPage.master" in your instal location. This file is into the package.
Did you copy all the files in your hosting?

The file is there in the install location and it is still saying the same thing. What could be the cause?

I replicated your request here: http://forums.asp.net/p/1868370/5249128.aspx/1?p=T...

Try to replace this, "~/MasterPage.master" with this "./MasterPage.master".

P.S. The application in installed in the root of your web hosting or in other location?

Thanks it worked. I replaced that throughout all files in the CMS folder.
However it still gives the following error and I have ensured that all folders in the install directory and files in them have read-write access for Network Service and the domain. What could still be wrong? Thanks once again.

I have fixed it.

I simply moved the application from a sub folder to the root directory and it worked. I got to realize through debugging that the App_Code, App_data and App_WebReferences folders would not be accessible unless placed in the root directory.

The absolute path of the folders is calculated by the Function MapPath (file app_code\extension.vb, line 588 of CMS v. 4.14).

Function MapPath(Optional ByVal File As String = "") As String
...
End Function

You can change this function to get better customization. smile_wink

Generally, with applications asp.NET, the app_code directory must be in the path of the application. Other directories can be moved. In this case you have to change the function map_path (extension.vb, line 588).

Good job thumbs_up
